Duties
- Supervise daily food production activities, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing clear guidance, training, and motivation to foster teamwork and high performance
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with attention to detail, consistency, and efficiency
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining environment
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, controlling waste, and minimizing costs without compromising quality
- Collaborate with management on menu development, special event planning, and customer feedback to enhance the dining experience
- Serve as a role model for hospitality excellence by engaging positively with guests and supporting team members in delivering outstanding service
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen or restaurant environment
- Extensive food preparation and cooking experience across diverse cuisines or specialty dishes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a collaborative atmosphere
- Solid kitchen experience with knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience demonstrating excellent service delivery and customer engagement
- Familiarity with inventory control, food production processes, and serving procedures in a busy setting
- Passion for culinary arts combined with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
