Cooper Weston Group, based in Horsham, are a well-established M&E installation and maintenance contractor delivering services across commercial and high-end residential properties throughout London and the South of England.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced self-employed Plumber to support our expanding workload.
The Role
You'll be carrying out installation, maintenance, fault finding and repair works across a range of commercial and high-end residential properties. We are looking for a reliable, professional engineer who can work independently while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and customer service.
Responsibilities
- First and second fix plumbing installations
- Installation, servicing and maintenance of plumbing and heating systems
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Installation and replacement of:
- Hot water cylinders
- Cold water storage tanks
- Copper, steel and plastic pipework
- Radiators, TRVs and valves
- Sanitary ware and high-end bathroom fittings
- Leak detection and repairs
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Reading drawings and specifications
- Completing job reports and photographic records where required
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' plumbing experience
- Strong commercial experience (high-end residential experience advantageous)
- NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing or equivalent
- Gas qualifications desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Own van, tools and public liability insurance
- UTR number and CIS registered
- Professional, reliable and client-focused
- Excellent fault-finding ability and attention to detail
