Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our small hotel - MacGregors at The Whisky Vaults.
This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. If you have experience in hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors while ensuring all surfaces are sanitised.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed.
- Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills with the capacity to manage time effectively.
- A willingness to learn new skills related to the role.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends if necessary.
