We are looking for a Project Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of Fire Door Inspection Solutions Ltd by coordinating administrative tasks, assisting with scheduling and logistics, and ensuring smooth communication between field teams, clients, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the operations and inspection teams.
- Schedule and coordinate fire door inspections, liaising with clients and field engineers.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Assist with procurement of materials and equipment for inspection teams.
- Monitor and update internal systems (e.g., job tracking, CRM, compliance logs).
- Handle incoming calls and emails, directing queries appropriately.
- Support the preparation of reports and presentations for clients and internal use.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and data protection policies.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Person Specification
Essential
- Previous experience in an administrative or operations support role.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with compliance or inspection-based industries is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Knowledge of fire safety regulations or facilities management.
