Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly and efficient service while taking orders and answering queries.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure the bar is well-stocked.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring every guest feels valued and welcomed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Basic bartending skills are advantageous; training will be provided for the right candidates.
