Accounts Senior – Stourport-on-Severn
An established and forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Stourport-on-Severn is looking to appoint an Accounts Senior to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant—ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE—who enjoys working with a varied client portfolio and values flexibility, autonomy, and a supportive, collaborative environment.
The Role
- Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Completing corporation tax and personal tax returns
- Preparing management accounts and supporting clients with day-to-day queries
- Assisting managers and partners with client meetings and advisory work
- Reviewing the work of junior staff (note: no trainees in this position)
- Contributing to ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- ACA / ACCA qualified or QBE with strong experience in general practice
- Confident preparing accounts from start to finish
- Proficient with cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Enjoys client interaction and thrives within a small, supportive team

- Salary: Up to £45,000 (dependent on experience)
