Overview
We are seeking an experienced Stairlift Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have the technical ability to hit the ground running, with immediate capability to install straight stairlifts from day one, specifically those manufactured by Handicare and TKE. Candidates with prior experience installing curved stairlifts will be highly regarded
The position involves working in various environments, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional workmanship.
Duties
- Install new stairlift systems in residential and commercial properties according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal functioning of stairlifts.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty or malfunctioning stairlifts efficiently, minimising downtime for clients.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to customers regarding the operation and safety of their stairlifts.
- Document all work carried out accurately in accordance with company procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry developments, product updates, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Stairlift Installation: Proven, hands-on experience installing straight stairlifts from day one.
- Brand Competency: Specific technical familiarity with Handicare and TKE (TK Elevator) systems.
- Curved Lift Capability: Ideally, existing expertise or the ability to quickly adapt to curved stairlift installations.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driving licence is essential due to travel requirements between sites.
- Good communication skills, capable of explaining technical information clearly to clients.

Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
