As a Quality Control Inspector, you’ll be responsible for inspecting products against internal drawings, specifications, and standards. You’ll help identify and resolve quality issues, maintain detailed inspection records, and work closely with production teams to drive continuous improvement across all processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect Products: Carry out detailed inspections to verify compliance with internal and external quality standards using established methods and tools.
- Document Findings: Accurately record inspection results, non-conformities, and maintain comprehensive quality records.
- Collaborate with Teams: Partner with production staff to identify root causes of defects and recommend corrective actions to enhance product quality.
- Monitor Processes: Observe manufacturing operations to ensure ongoing adherence to quality standards and highlight opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
· Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills with a commitment to identifying even the smallest defects.
- Effective Communication: Clear written and verbal communication for accurate reporting and productive teamwork.
- Experience: At least 1 year in a similar inspection or quality assurance role preferred — full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Education
- GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) desirable.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Friday: Optional overtime available
- Location: Toome
