Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated CQC Registered Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our care home. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered in accordance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies. Duties
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans tailored to individual residents’ needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
- Supervise and support care staff, fostering a positive team environment through effective leadership and supervision.
- Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
- Monitor the quality of care provided, conducting regular audits and assessments to maintain high standards.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive resident support.
- Ensure staff training programmes are up-to-date, including specialised training in dementia and senior care.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff rotas, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing resident wellbeing and operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience within assisted living or nursing home environments, ideally in a managerial capacity.
- Strong background in nursing or senior care, with specific expertise in dementia and Alzheimer's care.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and managing care plans tailored to complex needs.
- Supervising or management experience within a care home setting is essential.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
- Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate teams effectively.
- Previous experience with medication administration, home care services, or similar settings will be advantageous.
