Agricultural Warehouse Assistant - Helston (ID: 2026091)
This role is based in Helston, full-time working Monday to Friday; This will include working a rotating on-call schedule, which will cover nights and weekends.
Role Overview:
We are now offering an exciting opportunity for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team at our Helston depot.
In this role, you will support the efficient operation of the warehouse, handling goods inwards and outwards, picking and preparing orders, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring health and safety standards are followed at all times. You will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive the high level of service Wynnstay is known for.
This position would suit someone who is hands-on, organised, and enjoys working as part of a team. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Service customers and provide advice (where qualified) in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- Carry out warehouse duties including receiving and stacking goods, order picking, paperwork, and assisting customers with bulky items and vehicle loading (safely)
- Stock shelves, rotate stock, and assist with merchandising
- Assist with accurate and timely stocktaking
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide general support to product specialists and other team members
- Support promotional campaigns
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the store yard, gardens, and overall site
- Be flexible to provide cover at other stores when required
- Meet agreed performance objectives through the appraisal process
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as required
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
- Ability to perform a manual handling role
- Willingness to operate a forklift safely and undertake training if not already licensed
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Good customer care skills.
Desirable:
- Holding a Counterbalance Forklift Licence (or similar) already
- Agricultural knowledge or experience
