About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Roofing Operative to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out roofing work to a high standard while ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of roofing work, including repairs, maintenance, and new roof installations.
- Work with a variety of roofing materials and systems.
- Complete assigned tasks independently and as part of a team.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment as required.
- Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Report any issues, defects, or safety concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Previous roofing experience preferred.
- Ability to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with flat roofing, pitched roofing, leadwork, or roofline products.
