Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise team members to achieve operational goals and maintain high performance standards.
- Organise and delegate daily tasks effectively, ensuring smooth workflow across departments.
- Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate ongoing training programmes.
- Manage scheduling to optimise staffing levels whilst adhering to organisational policies.
- Foster a positive work environment through motivational leadership and clear communication.
- Oversee merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation and maximise sales opportunities.
- Handle administrative duties including reporting, record keeping, and utilisation of organisational systems.
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when liaising with clients and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Support sales management initiatives by assisting with promotional activities and customer engagement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising or management roles within retail or similar environments.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous.
- Demonstrable leadership qualities with a focus on team management and motivation.
- Experience in retail management, sales management, or merchandising is desirable.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks including report writing and utilisation of organisational software.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Professional demeanour with good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
