Job Overview
We are seeking a professional Site Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking site-based work at our customer’s premises including refrigerated cabinet installation, assembly and multiplexing/demultiplexing, service work and working alongside as the point of contact with sub-contractors as and when necessary. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.
Duties
- Assembly and multiplexing/demultiplexing of refrigerated display cabinets.
- To be responsible for the housekeeping in place of work.
- Be able to work as part of a team or under own initiative.
- To follow The Bond Group Health & Safety guidelines.
- To be aware and responsible for QA standards, procedures and product safety.
- Any additional works as directed by supervisors or management.
- Look after the vehicle and ensure that it is not subjected to unnecessary damage.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle supplied.
- To provide support at Bond House as required by the Operations Manager
Requirements
- Full driver’s license.
- An understanding of refrigerated cabinet assembly procedure.
- Knowledge and experience of use of hand-tools
- Knowledge of customer specification requirements.
- Ability to represent the Bond Group brand in a professional manner.
- Proven ability to follow instruction.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Strong customer focus.
- Right first time, every time, attitude and ability.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by operational demands
Location:
Your normal place of work will be Bond House, New Road, Sheerness, Kent, ME12 1BB. You will be required to work all across the UK working from our clients/customers premises.
Work Pattern:
This role is based on a 40-hour working week, typically Monday to Friday. However, regular weekend working, bank holiday working and occasional overnight stays (night outs) are an expected part of the role to meet customer and operational requirements.
