Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and proactive Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist with merchandising and store organisation, and support the day-to-day running of the store. Strong communication skills in English and a customer-focused attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and assist them in finding products and making purchases.
- Maintain attractive and organised product displays through effective merchandising.
- Process transactions accurately using the till system and handle cash and card payments.
- Keep the shop floor clean, tidy, and fully stocked throughout the day.
- Assist with stock replenishment, inventory checks, and stock organisation.
- Support promotional campaigns and seasonal displays to maximise sales opportunities.
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily store operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage when assisting a diverse customer base.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of merchandising and product presentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Reliable, organised, and eager to learn and develop within the retail industry.
