Sids Supermarket has been established for over 15 years in the heart of Cross Hands.
We are a convenience store, off licence and post office which provides many services to the local community. we open Monday to Friday 7am to 10pm , Saturday 7.30-10pm and Sunday 8am to 10pm.
We are seeking an motivated Store Manger to oversee the day to day operations of our retail business. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the store, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of customer service and stock control.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage staffing requirements, including recruitment, training, rotas and allocation of work.
- Oversee short and long -term planning for matrial and operational needs with director.
- Provide guidance and product knowledge to staff and customers.
- Handle customer enquires and ensure compliants are resolved efficiently and professionally.
- Monitor stock levels, ensure adequate reserves, and order new merchandise as required.
- Manage stock intake levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Inspect merchandise quality and ensure effective use of displays.
- Ensure records are kept up to date for daily operation.
Shifts are variable and the role will be supported by the directors.
Experience in retail is essential. Salary is negotioable and dependent on experience but will be uplifted in line with a management role.
