Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and organised Support Worker to provide weekly support visits to tenants living in supported accommodation. The successful candidate will work independently, monitor tenant wellbeing, maintain accurate records, and submit reports using our electronic case management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled weekly visits to tenants living in supported accommodation.
- Build positive, professional relationships that promote trust, independence, wellbeing, and the development of independent living skills.
- Monitor tenants' wellbeing, safety, and progress against agreed support plans, identifying and reporting safeguarding concerns, welfare issues, behavioural changes, or other risks in line with organisational procedures.
- Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment that supports personal growth and positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records, including support reports, case notes, and updates on the electronic case management system.
- Liaise effectively with colleagues and external agencies to coordinate appropriate support for tenants.
- Attend team meetings, supervision, and mandatory training.
- Carry out all duties in accordance with company policies, safeguarding, data protection, health and safety requirements, and relevant legislation.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of one year's experience in a support worker, housing support, social care, or similar role.
- Level 2 qualification (or above) in Health and Social Care, Housing Support, Social Work, or a related field (preferred).
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate professionally with tenants, colleagues, and partner agencies.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and electronic case management systems.
- Ability to produce clear, accurate reports and maintain detailed case records.
- Good understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, professional boundaries, and data protection.
- Compassionate, person-centred approach with the ability to build trust, motivate individuals, and support positive outcomes.
- Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Patience, empathy, resilience, and the ability to remain calm when supporting individuals with diverse needs.
- Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one before employment.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults or people living in supported accommodation.
- Knowledge of housing support, tenancy sustainment, mental health, or homelessness services.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, where travel between properties is required.

Pay: From £24,420.00 per year
