Job description
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients' conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualised care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Assist in the coordination of patient care activities, including scheduling appointments, arranging diagnostic tests, and coordinating referrals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Adhere to all healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (NMC pin)
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a GP setting
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care
- Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
