About the Role
IMC Solutions Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Hotbox Driver to join our growing team.
You will be responsible for collecting hot asphalt from the depot, transporting it safely to site in a hotbox vehicle, and supporting our tarmac team throughout the day to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
This is a long-term opportunity with consistent work for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive an 18T Hotbox vehicle safely and professionally.
- Collect hot asphalt from the depot.
- Ensure asphalt is transported safely and maintained at the correct temperature.
- Deliver asphalt to construction sites on time.
- Assist the tarmac team with reinstatement and surfacing works when required.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience driving Hotbox or tipper vehicles preferred.
- Experience working on highways, utilities or construction sites is an advantage.
- CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
Parking Options
The successful driver can park the vehicle at either:
- Our yard near Junction 14, M4, or
- Our plant near Junction 12, M4.
