Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar/Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic environment, providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous bar & restaurant experience is essential, although full training will be provided.
Duties
- Taking orders from guests accurately and efficiently
- Serving food and beverages in a courteous and timely manner
- Preparing and presenting drinks in accordance with standard recipes
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the service area
- Assisting with food preparation tasks as required, maintaining food safety standards
- Upselling menu items to maximise sales opportunities
- Providing exceptional guest services by attending to customer needs and queries
- Handling payments and operating POS systems accurately
- Supporting team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality bar/restaurant service
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Basic maths skills for billing and cash handling
- Culinary experience or understanding of menu items enhances guest interactions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts
- Strong guest service orientation with friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
- Good organisational skills to maintain cleanliness and order in the work area
