The Role
As a Freelance Massage Therapist with MASAJ (Weekends Only) you will:
- Deliver tailored massage treatments from our treatment menu (Relaxing, Deep Tissue and Couples) in line with our brand standard. Sports, pregnancy massage, Lymphatic drainage highly desirable. Facework training in-house.
- Work weekend shifts only (Saturday & Sunday, opening 08:00 - 14:45 / closing 15:00 - 21:45), ensuring no more than 5.75 hours of massage per shift.
- Build and retain a client base within the MASAJ studio environment.
- Maintain a professional, welcoming and inclusive client experience that reflects our ethos “Come As You Are”.
- Work to our high standards of hygiene, presentation, and customer service, delivering an elevated guest experience.
What We’re Looking For
- You must hold a relevant level 3 body massage and Deep Tissue or Sports qualification and be insured and registered with a recognised regulatory body.
- Prior experience as a Massage Therapist is required (especially delivering deep tissue).
- A warm, professional demeanour with excellent communication and client-care skills.
- Availability to work weekend shifts (08:00 - 14:45 / 15:00 - 21:45) every Saturday and Sunday, with flexibility to pick up additional weekend shifts.
- Ability to complete our practical assessment process, provide reliable references and be able to complete onboarding and site inductions.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, tailored bodywork, celebrating the uniqueness of each client.

- Freedom and flexibility as a self-employed professional, with a guarantee of two weekend shifts per week and opportunity for more, or a flexible cover position with a minimum requirement of 2 shifts completed over 4 weeks.
