Maintenance Electrician (Quality Supervisor)
Hours: 40 per week
Location: Various sites in the Greater Belfast Area (Transport provided)
Key Purpose of Role:
An opportunity has arisen in the Facilities Division for the role of Maintenance Electrician. The Electrician will be responsible for ongoing checks, testing, maintenance and reactive works in accommodations and facilities on site. The successful person will work as part of a wider maintenance team, to complete all works to a safe and satisfactory standard, and also fulfil the role of the NICEAC Quality Supervisor on site.
The position will involve being on call on a rota basis.
The Person/Skills required:
- Ability to carry out major and minor electrical works, as required.
- Ability to ensure all works are performance in accordance with Health and Safety and other relevant legislation and codes of practice.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Good planning and organising skills.
- Excellent teamwork skills
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Must hold BS7671 18th edition installation qualification, including fourth amendment.
- Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
- 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification
- Experience of administering various forms of contracts
- Strong knowledge of general building works
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in electrical works
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- ECS/CSCS/CSR card
- EICR testing qualification
- Experience in facilities management
- Experience as NICEAC Quality Supervisor
