Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team at Olive Tree Turkish Restaurant. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on their needs throughout their dining experience
- Upsell additional items or specials to increase sales
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Process guest payments accurately using POS system
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of basic math skills for handling payments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with culinary terms and ingredients is an advantage
- Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure the well-being of customers
- Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay
We are looking for a full time waiter/waitress - salary to be discussed during the interview. Dependent on experience.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
