We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business and Transformation leader to direct project and transformational change priorities across our Mental Health portfolio in Milton Keynes, which spans services from children's through to older adults.
In this role, you will lead the local business planning, service improvement initiatives, and transformation priorities. You will work flexibly within a changing landscape, managing a complex system of internal and external stakeholders while directly line managing a dedicated Project Manager to keep key programmes on track.
This role requires a minimum of 60% on site working in MK.
Plan, support, and monitor multiple complex change management projects across clinical and non-clinical services within agreed budget envelopes. You will also design and implement training to improve the project management capabilities of local staff.
Drive digital innovation and the digitisation of services to improve clinical safety, advising on the strategic use of AI to boost patient experience and pathway productivity.
Lead local Cost Improvement Programmes (CIP), service redesign opportunities, and efficiency initiatives to ensure productivity and value in service delivery.

Support services by taking lead responsibility for coordinating all operational aspects of business and service development and for the strategic planning of all aspects of the business agenda. This includes Chairing meetings and reporting on progress.
Take a lead role in the identification and delivery of service improvement, transformation and service redesign opportunities and escalating these for approval.
Lead a programme of Business & Transformation priorities, utilising project/ programme management principles, supporting and directing project leads including both the business & transformation team and wider clinical/ operational staff
Be expected to develop a clear understanding of all aspects of service delivery working alongside clinical colleagues, patient, carers and local communities.
Assist the CNWL MK Senior Management Team and Head of Contracts, Partnerships and Business Development in redesigning services to identify cost efficiencies and possible savings. Lead local Cost Improvement work supporting better productivity and value in service delivery
Have strong financial acumen, with experience managing programme budgets and supporting services to improve financial performance
Lead and coordinate the delivery of service improvement programmes in line with requirements of 10-year plan. Link to Trust priorities including reducing health inequalities in MK and further development of the Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework
Support digital innovation and the digitisation of services to improve efficiency and clinical safety. Advise on use of AI where it will improve patient experience and productivity of pathways.
Write business cases and bids to request funding for new developments.
Compile reports to show progress on projects across the portfolio
