Duties
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair various mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns and extend machinery lifespan
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble, disassemble, and repair components
- Conduct heavy lifting safely to move parts and equipment during repair or installation processes
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and technical diagrams to ensure precise repairs
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding repairs and maintenance status
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other repair tools
- Experience in equipment repair, assembly, and preventive maintenance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of daily tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues
- Good communication skills for effective customer service and teamwork
- Prior experience working with mechanical systems in industrial or commercial settings is preferred

Pay: £261.93-£533.24 per week
