Experienced Site Carpenter (1st & 2nd Fix) – South Coast Location & Coverage
Ongoing projects on new build residential sites across Hampshire, Dorset, and West Sussex.
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, fully skilled Carpenter for high-end new build developments. You will be responsible for delivering top-tier 1st and 2nd fix carpentry. We value precision, speed, and a professional "get it done" attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1st Fix: Roofing, floor joists, studwork, and internal partitions.
- 2nd Fix: Hanging doors, skirting, architrave, and kitchen installations.
- Ensuring all work meets NHBC standards and specific project drawings.
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Proven Experience: Minimum [4] years in new build carpentry.
- Transport: Own reliable van.
- Tools: Full kit of professional-grade tools (110v and/or cordless).
- Credentials: Valid CSCS Card (Blue or Gold preferred).
- Insurance: Valid Public Liability Insurance.
- Attitude: Professional, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Rate: Good rates for professionals – Paid weekly.
- Contract Type: Sub-contract (CIS).
- Duration: Long-term work available for the right candidate.
Pay: £18.29-£27.01 per hour
