An excellent opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's leading providers of pet services. Based at Greenacres Pet Crematorium on the outskirts of Scunthorpe we are now looking to recruit a Cremation & Packing Operative to join our experienced crematorium team.
Part-time working hrs Monday – Friday 11.30am – 17.00 – 25 hrs p/wk. with 30mins Lunch Break

The role:
As a Cremation Operative you will be responsible for:
- Operating and running the cremators on site at the crematorium, loading carrying out cremations and then processing the ashes of pets
- Liaising with clients, practices and customers and being an ambassador for the Crematorium showing empathy and care when collecting pets
- Responsible for carrying out maintenance and cleaning duties within the crematorium
- Maintaining and completing the appropriate paperwork for deliveries and collections
- You will also be responsible for ensuring that all our cremations are packed and certified to the highest standards, prepared and documented ready for return to both veterinary practices and pet parents.
- Completing pre-cremation services such as precious paw prints or keepsakes.
As a key part of the team you will liaise with site management, drivers and the administration team throughout the day.
