About the Role
As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards across our client sites, ensuring customers and visitors enjoy a clean, safe, and professional environment.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is dependable, proactive, and has excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities General Cleaning Duties
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Dusting and cleaning surfaces, fixtures, and fittings
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
- Sanitising high-touch points and communal areas
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the site
Facilities and Washroom Cleaning
- Cleaning and disinfecting toilets, sinks, mirrors, and washroom facilities
- Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels
- Deep cleaning floors, tiles, and other surfaces as required
Specialist Area Cleaning (where applicable)
- Cleaning equipment, machinery, furniture, and communal facilities
- Internal glass and mirror cleaning
- Maintaining presentation standards in customer-facing areas
Health & Safety
- Following company cleaning procedures and health and safety guidelines
- Correct use of cleaning products and equipment
- Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or incidents promptly
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
