We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and experienced Room Leader to join our friendly nursery team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate early years professional to lead a room, inspire colleagues, and provide outstanding care and education for children.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily running of your designated room.
- Deliver high-quality learning experiences in line with our curriculum. .
- Support, motivate, and supervise nursery practitioners.
- Ensure children's safety, wellbeing, and development at all times.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Complete observations, assessments, and learning journals.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene.
- Work closely with the other room leaders and management to ensure excellent practice throughout the setting.
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years/Childcare.
- Previous experience working in an early years setting.
- Experience leading or supervising a nursery room preferable but training can be given.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A genuine passion for helping children learn and thrive.
Pay: From £31,158.40 per year
