At Chestnut House we have a new opportunity for an outgoing caring and compassionate individual to join our team as an Activities Co-Ordinator
You will take lead on planning and fulfilling the daily activities for our residents. This would include individual person-centered activities as well as group sessions with our residents.
You would plan the weekly activities rota for the care team as well as your own person-centered schedule.
You would be responsible for ensuring that residents have a full and varied program of recreational and social activities which are meaningful and enhance their daily lives.
Chestnut House is a well-established care home with a good long-standing reputation. We specialise in dementia care and support for up to 41 residents.
This position is 25 hours per week and will include some weekends
Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred but not essential
You would need a DBS for this position, this can be applied for through Chestnut House if you do not have a portable DBS
