At Steer Commercial, part of the award-winning Steer Automotive Group, we specialise in the repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles. As our business continues to grow, were looking for a reliable, safety-focused HGV/Commercial MET to join our team play and a vital role in restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition

What Youll Be Doing
- Dismantling and reassembling vehicles safely and efficiently, following manufacturer methods
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and carrying out the necessary repairs
- Working with the latest technology and equipment to ensure quality and compliance
- Liaising with other technicians to support a smooth and efficient repair process
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment
What Were Looking For
- Proven experience as an MET Technician in a Bodyshop or accident repair setting, ideally someone who has HGV mechanical experience and MET skills for repairing commercial vehicles.
- Strong understanding of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and trim systems
- ATA accreditation (or working towards it) is desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A professional who works with integrity, accountability, and pride in their craft
