The Subscribers Fee Administration Department deals with the administration of Member's fee income and pay-outs as well as the daily upkeep of the agent, contact and case information on the Lex case management system. All new appointments will be made at the start of the salary scale
Hours 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday: 9.00am – 5.00pm

A Cash Administrator is responsible for the accurate, timely and compliant processing of all cash transactions relating to members’ fees and company services. The role ensures that receipts, payments, advances, adjustments and repayments are correctly recorded, reconciled and reported across banking platforms, bespoke LEX case management and SAGE accounting systems. The post holder supports the integrity of the members’ accounts the delivery of weekly and month-end payouts and the provision of reliable financial information to members, management and external stakeholders
Key responsibilities include maintaining records using bespoke fee accounting & LEX case Management system; process cash transactions from Solicitors, SLAB and Direct bodies to the Advocate accounts and nominal ledger. To access Company online banking to retrieve daily bank statements, carry out daily bank reconciliation, process and record Advance payments to Advocates via online banking and ensure all records are kept up to date for audit purposes.
The successful candidate must have Higher Grade English & Maths however proven work experience in a similar environment may be considered in the lieu of formal qualifications. The successful candidate will have a high level of computer literacy and numeracy skills with effective communication skills and a high attention to detail.
Pay: £28,262.00-£34,354.00 per year
