Scandor are seeking a Landscape Construction Team Leader to join our BALI National Award-winning commercial landscaping company on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business delivering a wide range of hard and soft landscape construction projects for public sector and commercial clients. We generally work within a local geographical area, with most projects located within an hour of our depot and offices near Colden Common.
As a Landscape Construction Team Leader, you will lead and work alongside a small team to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and motivate a small team to deliver landscape construction projects to specification and quality standards.
· Work closely with the Contract Manager to schedule and deliver works in line with client requirements.
· Ensure health, safety, quality, and environmental standards are always maintained on site.
· Provide a professional and responsive service to clients and stakeholders.
· Identify and resolve on-site issues, escalating matters to the Contract Manager where necessary.
· Support and develop team members to achieve the best possible performance and progression.

The Successful Candidate will ideally have:
· Enthusiasm, motivation, and a desire to develop their career within a growing business.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Experience in landscape construction activities including groundworks, paving, drainage, fencing, play installations, safety surfacing, and soft landscaping.
· Demonstrable experience leading and motivating a team.
· First Aid and CSCS certification (desirable).
· Experience operating mechanical plant, with relevant operator qualifications such as NPORS, LANTRA, or CPCS (desirable).
· A full, clean driving licence is essential
· The ability to drive vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes would be advantageous, although not essential.
