Educato are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Salford that is seeking a passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. The school is committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning and is looking for someone who can inspire young learners through engaging lessons, effective adaptive teaching, and a strong understanding of phonics.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their careers within a supportive school environment.
The Role
- Full-time KS1 teaching role starting in September
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Deliver high-quality phonics sessions using recognised phonics frameworks
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring every child can achieve their full potential
- Monitor pupil progress and provide effective assessment and feedback
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- Experience delivering phonics using recognised frameworks (such as Little Wandle, Read Write Inc. or similar)
- Confident in using adaptive teaching strategies to support pupils with a range of learning needs
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
