Qualities Required:
- Bar experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
- Basic math skills for handling sales and giving change
- Time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple tasks
- Previous restaurant experience preferred
Our customers comprise mostly of families on holiday so patience and the ability to deal politely and pleasantly with a variety of enquiries is essential.
Training will be given on our tills and any other systems or processes needed for you to do your job.
Duties include:
- Welcoming and greeting customers
- Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers
- Serving food to customers
- Responding to customer enquiries, referring to Management where necessary.
- Taking payments by cash and credit cards.
- Retrieving, storing, and accounting for stock items.
- Keeping the bar and customer areas clean and tidy at all times
A free cooked meal is provided during your shift along with unlimited free soft drinks, tea and coffee.
Additional meals are available at a discounted rate while working.
The pay rate is £13.50 per hour.
Please note this position is seasonal and expected to finish at the end of October this year.
