Part Time - Casual Funeral Service Operative - General Assistant £12.71 per hour, to work on a casual basis depending on the demands of the business. We are looking for a smart and dignified individual to join our dedicated team to show utmost care and attention to the deceased and their families. Duties will include acting as a bearer on funerals, driving specialist automatic transmission company vehicles, and very importantly being part of our out of hours call duty team for the transfer of the deceased. This means being available on a rota basis usually one week in two/three week cycles, evenings/night/weekends/bank holiday periods. Please note this is a part time position and will not suit someone looking for fixed hours or full time hours, and may be more suitable to those with spare time who may be retired from full time employment. Location head office in Chorlton - cum - Hardy, South Manchester.
