We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise guest flow.
- Provide menu information and assist guests with their selections, including upselling specials and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during service and food preparation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any guest inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and waiting areas.
- Handle guest payments accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
- Assist in training new staff members on front of house procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong guest services skills with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
- A culinary background or experience in food preparation is a plus but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
