Warm Wings Care needs warm, dependable people who bring kindness and calm to every visit. As a Carer, you will spend time getting to know each person you support — their routines, what makes them smile, and the small things that help them feel safe and valued.
You will deliver practical personal care and everyday support while always treating people with dignity and respect, listening carefully, and adapting to what each day brings. Your presence will help people stay independent in their own homes, and your thoughtful actions will make a real difference to families and communities across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Person Specification:
Essential
- Compassionate, respectful and patient approach.
- Experience in domiciliary care, supported living or similar setting preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and complete accurate records.
- Willingness to travel across the local area and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to safeguarding, dignity and person‑centred practice.
- Right to work in the UK and ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
Desirable
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Experience supporting people with dementia, learning disabilities, autism or complex needs.
- Medication administration training or willingness to train.
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Qualifications and Checks
- Enhanced DBS check required.
- Right to work verification and two satisfactory references.

- Mandatory training: safeguarding, moving & handling, medication, infection control, first aid, mental health awareness and dementia care.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
