Hours of work ~ Monday, Tuesday and Friday 8am-3.30pm and Thursdays 8am-4pm.
Salary ~£12.71+ subject to qualifications and experience.
Work Pattern ~ Term Time Only.
Minimum Qualifications ~ A full and relevant level 3 Early Years Qualification. You will need 2 years minimum experience within a Pre-school or nursery setting. SEN experience, DSL training and Paediatric First Aid are advantageous but not essential.

Sporle Pre-School is a charitable organisation operating within Sporle Primary School; we offer a range of sessions during term time only.
We are a busy Pre-School at the heart of the community we are looking for a new highly motivated and committed team member to join staff to ensure a high standards of care is delivered and maintained. You will need to be passionate about working with children with a positive and motivated attitude. The successful candidate will work on a part time basis with additional hours being offered to cover sickness, holiday or busy periods.
As part of this job role we expect the individual to be able to work within a small team and to also ensure parent partnerships are maintained, we pride ourselves in working closely with each and every family and after training we would expect the new candidate to take on Key Person duties and work to the high standard set within our provision.
It is essential that all applicants have knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and are confident in planning and organising to enable every child to be a competent learner. Sporle Pre-School has been awarded a Strong standard in all areas from Ofsted (2026) and we continue to strive to achieve new exciting levels.
Appointments to this position will be subject to enhanced DBS checks and is also dependent upon a minimum of two suitable references.
