Position: CNC Operator
Location: Ahmarra Timber Fire Door Factory, Havant, PO9 1FA
Working hours: 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00am - 1.00pm on Friday

Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Ability to read shop floor paperwork along with CNC programs. Be able to accurately follow both written and pictorial instructions (including CAD drawings).
- Adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Be able to work to fine tolerance’s and deadlines.
- Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- General factory housekeeping and machine cleaning.
- The successful candidates will be able to follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) whilst ensuring compliance to all Health and Safety and PPE requirements at all times as per the Company Health and Safety Policy.
Key skills/Person Specification
- CNC Machine Knowledge – Homag experience an advantage
- Joinery or wood machinist knowledge
- A high level of attention to detail to adhere to our high-quality control standards.
- A flexible attitude in respect of overtime working as and when required.
- A good standard of fitness is required as some materials may need manual handling

Salary: £13.52 - £14.25 an hour depending on experience, plus a weekly bonus incentive scheme (which has added an average of an additional £1 per hour during 2026), if applicable.
