Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections of vehicles using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems effectively.
- Maintain detailed service records, documenting all repairs, parts used, and procedures performed for each vehicle.
- Assist with heavy lifting and equipment handling to ensure proper repair procedures are followed safely.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
- Experience with vehicle diagnostics, maintenance procedures, and equipment repair.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in troubleshooting vehicle issues.
