Part-time or Full-time
We’re looking for another brilliant human to join the team at Raven.
We’re an exciting new café that opened just over a year ago and we want someone who genuinely wants to be here — someone who enjoys working, loves people, loves great coffee and takes pride in being part of a busy, happy team.
This isn’t really a role for someone looking for “just a job”. We want someone who brings energy, gets stuck in, notices what needs doing and actually cares about giving people a great experience.
Barista experience is essential. You’ll need to be confident behind a coffee machine, but we’d especially love to hear from someone who is genuinely passionate and knowledgeable about coffee — someone who appreciates the craft, wants to keep learning and cares about making a really good cup of coffee.
We’d also love to find someone with a bit of experience under their belt. Maybe you’ve previously been a supervisor or assistant manager, stepped away from management for a while, or you’re simply ready for your next challenge. There’s plenty of opportunity to grow with us for the right person.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is:
- Warm, friendly and genuinely loves people
- Reliable and actually wants to come to work
- Confident and experienced as a barista
- Happy working as part of a team and getting stuck into everything
- Comfortable in a busy environment
- Interested in learning, developing and potentially taking on more responsibility
- Available for some weekend work and occasional evenings when we have events
The role can be part-time or full-time, depending on the right person. Weekends are an important part of hospitality and so weekend availability will be needed, although that doesn’t mean working every single one. Although we are primarily a daytime operation there will be some evenings required where we host events and opening in the evening in the future is also a potential possibility

Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 45.0 per week
