Parkhill Dental is an independent, clinician-owned practice in Torquay with a growing reputation for periodontal care, implants and advanced restorative dentistry. We are one of the few practices in the South West offering specialist gum recession treatment, and our implant and cosmetic work continues to expand.
That growth creates real opportunity for the right person, and we would rather train someone brilliant than hire someone finished.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring, GDC-registered Dental Nurse to join our friendly team for 4 days per week. The Role As a Dental Nurse at Parkhill Dental, you will:
- Provide chairside support to a high standard across periodontal, implant, restorative and cosmetic treatments
- Prepare surgeries and maintain excellent cross-infection control
- Support patients throughout their treatment journey, helping them feel comfortable and reassured (we are known for looking after nervous patients, and our nurses are a big part of why)
- Work closely with our clinicians to keep clinical sessions running smoothly
- Play an active part in creating an exceptional patient experience.
Where This Role Can Take You: We invest in our team, and this role is designed to develop with you. Depending on your interests, your pathway here could include:
- Implant and surgical nursing: hands-on experience assisting implant placement and periodontal surgery, with structured training and support towards recognised qualifications
- Extended duties: post-registration development such as radiography, impression taking or oral health education
- Treatment coordination: learning to guide patients through their options and their journey, a skill that opens doors across the profession
- Brand and content: if you enjoy photography, videography or social media, there are genuine opportunities to help tell the Parkhill story and shape how patients discover us.
This is an opportunity, not a requirement. Excellent nurses who simply want to nurse brilliantly are exactly who we want to hear from too.
You do not need experience in implants or periodontics to apply. Full training will be provided for the right person. What matters most is attitude, care and a genuine desire to learn.
