Worley is currently recruiting for a grab crane operator. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our team on P66
Purpose/Role:
- Provide Safe an efficient Rail Loading Operative to Load Rail Containers & Effluent Treatment Plant
Prime responsibilities:
- Shunting.
- Driving of Loco’s (includes prestart checks of Loco’s).
- Checking of Rail cars prior to loading (security seals and fitness for loading).
- Accept and deliver shift handovers (including signing of shift log’s).
- Start of shift discussion with shift team.
- General operating duties as laid down in the Rail operating manuals and training sheets.
- Adherence to Refinery Safety and environmental manuals.
- Attend fire training course (2 yearly).
- Minor maintenance as required.
- Attend any operating related courses as requested by Company (i.e. Permit To Work course).
- Participate in any Emergency Exercises with shift teams as required.
- General operating duties as laid down by ETP manuals & training sheets
Qualifications and Certification required:
Essential:
Previous experience
Ideally all candidates must have the following experience:
- Demonstrable experience in previous posts
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
- Demonstrable commitment to always working safely.
- Flexible – able to comply with company and project requirements.
- Ability to work with other team members / disciplines and in a multi-cultural environment.
- Confident and with an ability to work unsupervised working on own initiative.
- Has a desire to learn and develop within the role.
