Role responsibilities:
The main duties of the role will include:
- Provide leadership to care staff within the service and ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of the service.
- Ensure care delivery complies with CQC regulations and company standards.
- Maintain skills at a high level, and undertake such training and development as may, from time-to-time, be required to maintain practices as up to date.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, log incidents, complaints, and follow up actions.
- Monitor ECM system to ensure that the care service is delivered to service users at the times and for the duration specified in the relevant individual agreement(s) and contract standards.
- Ensure service users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
- Handle last-minute shift changes and act as an emergency cover of absent staff when required.
- Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service.
- Develop effective and professional relationship with social workers, NOKs and with any other local authority.
- Work in cooperation with members of the multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for service users.
- Develop and maintain a duty rota to meet the needs of the service users that the service supports.
- Audit care logs to maintain service efficiency and to meet the regulatory standards.
- On call duties.

· Salary: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year depending on experience.
