Are you a compassionate and reliable individual with a passion for providing high-quality care during the night? We are currently looking for a Night Care Assistant to join our dedicated team in a warm and welcoming care home setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to residents throughout the night
- Carry out regular wellbeing checks in line with residents’ care plans
- Assist residents with mobility and repositioning as needed
- Respond promptly to call bells and emergencies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and logs
- Support residents with bedtime and morning routines
- Ensure residents are safe, comfortable, and treated with dignity and respect
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent care delivery
- Utilize IT systems for documentation and reporting
What We’re Looking For:
- Part time cover for Night shift (2 Nights per week)
- Experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable
- Ability to drive or access reliable transportation to reach the care home
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work night shifts
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and colleagues effectively
- Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care
- Compassionate nature and willingness to provide high-quality care
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
