Botley Hill Farmhouse is looking for an experienced and driven Head Chef to lead our kitchen team.
Perched on the North Downs with panoramic views across Surrey, Botley Hill Farmhouse is a busy independent venue known for quality food, warm service and a loyal following.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef to take ownership of the kitchen, shape the menu and lead a passionate team.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the kitchen team on a day-to-day basis
- Designing and developing seasonal menus
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation
- Managing stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
- Ensuring full compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Recruiting, training and developing kitchen staff
- Working closely with management to support events and seasonal promotions
About You
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen
- A confident and supportive leader who thrives in a busy environment
- Strong organisational and kitchen management skills
- Passion for quality ingredients and well-executed dishes
- Calm and solutions-focused under pressure
