We are recruiting a Qualified Early Years Assistant for a fantastic nursery in Wilmslow. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate childcare professional who is committed to providing outstanding care and education while helping young children thrive during their early years.
About the Role
As a Qualified Early Years Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of the nursery, helping to deliver engaging learning experiences and ensuring every child is cared for in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. You will work closely with colleagues and families to support each child's individual development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow team members.
- Encourage children's learning, confidence, and independence through play.
- Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
- Help maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating nursery environment.
- Work collaboratively as part of a professional and supportive team.
What We're Looking For
- A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent).
- A sound understanding of the EYFS framework.
- A caring, enthusiastic, and reliable approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
