Job Description:
We are recruiting for a day shift staff members who can commit to 1 to 3 shifts per week, to join our complex care team and be a trusted companion to our vulnerable client.
Job Summary
The role is working with a 54-year-old adult Female, who requires 1:1 support, this client lives in her own home with several pets.
Please be aware that any applicants must be pet friendly to be considered, her pets are a big part of her life and are included within future goals.
The person has fluctuating capacity and is a pleasure to be around, your role will include support with Medication administered via a JEJ.
It is important that you have a good sense of humour, enjoy crafts and singing and trips out in her mobility car to the beach with her dogs.
Full training will be provided, with support from the whole team, Medsolve is Nurse led and we will coach you to become competent in this provision of care.
Available Shift Times:
- 10:00am – 19:15pm Monday to Sunday. (weekend workers preferred)
Interventions:
- JEJ & PEJ
- Oral Nutrition
- Enteral Feeding.
Integrating into a friendly team, you will have a set rolling Rota 2 weeks in advance.
WEEKEND SUPPORT IS A PRIORITY.
Duties
- Supporting with cleanliness within the home.
- Supporting with hospital and dental appointments.
- Accessing the community
- Providing positive affirmation and reassurance constantly.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the individual’s condition to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- A valid driving licence (Mobility vehicle Manual Drive) is essential.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Basic IT skills are necessary for maintaining records and communicating via digital platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
- A caring attitude with a strong desire to help others improve their quality of life. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care and support to those in need while working within a collaborative team environment.
