We work on a wide range of commercial, heritage and high-value residential projects, carrying out specialist cleaning and restoration to brick, stone and other external surfaces.Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Paint Removal Specialist to join our expanding team.
The Role
This is a specialist role for someone who has hands-on experience removing paint and coatings from masonry using a variety of methods while preserving the underlying substrate.
You'll be working on commercial buildings, listed buildings, residential developments and heritage projects across London and the South East.
Applicants must have practical experience with several of the following:
- Chemical paint removal systems
- Abrasive blasting (TORC, Jos, IBIX or similar)
- Wet and dry media blasting
- Steam cleaning (DOFF/ThermaTech desirable)
- Brick and stone cleaning
- Graffiti removal
- Coating removal from masonry surfaces
- Working on listed and heritage buildings (desirable)
You should understand how to assess different substrates and select the most appropriate removal method without causing damage.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in specialist paint removal
- Full UK Driving Licence
- CSCS Card
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good understanding of Health & Safety
- Comfortable working at height from scaffolding, MEWPs and access equipment
- Reliable, professional and able to work as part of a team
