Talent Boutique Solutions is recruiting for production operatives (packing position) in Avonmouth. Chilled warehouse with approx. temperatures of 5 to 10 degrees.
Location: Avonmouth (easily accessible by public transport)
Pay: £14.06 per hour
Shifts: sunday - Thursday
Hours: 11pm-5am
Job Description / Key Responsibilities:
- Operate slicing machines safely and efficiently to produce meat slices to specified thicknesses and weight tolerances.
- Monitor output and ensure product consistency and quality.
- Conduct basic quality checks (visual inspection, weight and specification checks).
- Maintain hygiene and cleaning of your work area, including cleaning slicers and related equipment.
- Follow all safety and food hygiene guidelines
- Participate in changeovers and knife sharpening or blade changes as required.
- Keep accurate records of production and any discrepancies or wastage.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience working on slicer machines or similar food production equipment (preferred but training can be provided).
- Ability to follow instructions, work to targets, and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of hygiene, safety and quality standards in food production.
- Good physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods, handle meat products and sometimes repetitive tasks.
